I'm Harrison Sagraves,
Translator/Interpreter (翻訳家兼通訳家)
 

          Hello and welcome to my site! I am a current student at Clemson University, in South Carolina, USA. I'm soon to graduate on December 2023, and I'm very excited for whatever prospects potential employers would like to allow me to work on. Translation and interpretation work in Japanese has been my dedication for 3 years now, and I've gotten the opportunity to let the fruits of my studies shine both in personal and business backgrounds.

          I began learning Japanese 10 years, all by self-study. It all began with an undying interest to read a language that I had been so fascinated by since I was a child, and now I'm proud to say that my work has paid off for myself and for others.

          During the Summer of 2021, I got my first opportunity to translate for touring organization known as the Yuki Experience Center. My work translating for their newsletters and social media is some of the most proud work that I've done in my college career. During my time studying abroad, my friends from Mexico and Guatemala gave a presentation on the education systems of their respective countries, and I stood in as the interpreter for their Q&A session with the visitors.

           I have already had many wonderful experiences in my field of Japanese and English language use, and I'm more very excited to take up my next!
